1. Please rotate the emergency STOP button before using. Otherwise the machine cannot be turned on.
2. For better visual effect, please remove the protective film starting from the four corners of the enclosure.
3. If the enclosure is cracked, please contact customer service email: service@woxcker.com.
4. Note: For eye safety, the laser engraving machine automatically stops working when the cover is opened. This is the setting of the machine and is normal.
5. If you have any questions about using the machine, please contact customer service email: service@woxcker.com or search “Woxcker L8 MAX laser engraver”on YouTube to find the corresponding tutorial.
Turn on the laser engraver and insert the TF card.
Connect your mobile phone to WIFI: WOXCKER_L8_MAX, the password is 12345678
Open the engraving App on your mobile phone (described in the software manual)
Enter IP: 192.168.0.1 in the APP to connect.
Locate the 1st installation reference point on the honeycomb board.
Open the machine cover.
Lift the machine upwards from the position of the front control panel.
Slide the honeycomb board into the interior of the machine from the bottom of the front control panel.
Push the honeycomb board to the 5 designated reference points shown in the illustration, securing the board using the following installation reference points:
①Pump Tube:For connecting air assist, suitable for cutting items.
②Pump Power:For powering air assist, suitable for cutting items.
③DC 24V:For powering machine.
④Type-C:For connecting machine and computers to transmit data.
⑤Camera-PC:For connecting machine camera and computer to transmit data.
⑥OFF/Engrave/Cutting/MAX:For adjusting air intake volume of air assist.
⑦Offline Engrave:For start engraving for the file named 001.nc in the TF card.
⑧Power:For turning on the machine.
⑨Emergency STOP:For turning off the machine and laser in emergency situation.
⑩Warning light:For warning in the event of an open flame.
⑪Child lock:For locking the machine to avoid accidental opening by children.
The engraving nc file exported by Lightburn software and stored in the root directory of the TF card. Start engraving by using the “Offline Engrave” button.
①Short press for 1 second to preview.
②Press and hold for 3 seconds to start engraving.
③Press 1 second to pause.
④Press 1 second again to continue.
⑤Press and hold for 3 seconds again to stop engraving.
Note: The nc file must be named 001.nc, and the file must be placed in the root directory of the TF card.
If the machine tilts more than 15 degrees from the horizontal plane for over 1 second, the machine will cease operation, the laser module will stop emitting laser, and the status light will display an alert. After triggering the protection mechanism, the machine must be restarted for normal use.
If the laser module detects an open flame, the machine will stop running, the laser module will cease emitting laser, and the status light will display an alert while the buzzer sounds. After triggering the protection mechanism, the machine must be restarted for normal use.
If the emergency stop button is pressed, the machine will stop running, and the laser module will cease emitting laser. The emergency stop status can be released by rotating the button clockwise.
If the key is inserted and rotated counterclockwise, the machine will stop running, and the laser module will cease emitting laser. The key lock mode can be disengaged by rotating the key clockwise.
Airflow Detection Light
Red Light On: Air assist is not activated. Please check if the air pump is turned on and ensure that the ventilation tube is properly connected. Otherwise, smoke and dust may contaminate the lenses of the laser module.
Green Light On: Air assist is activated. Adjust the air volume based on the actual cutting effect.
Flame Detection Light
Green Light On: No flame detected.
Red Light On: Flame detected. The machine will stop running, and the laser module will cease emitting laser.
Laser Power Detection Light Strip
Laser Strip: The height of the green bar represents the current laser power value being used.
Note: During the engraving process, laser power will continuously adjust based on the depth of engraving positions, so fluctuations in the light strip are normal.
Connect the air assist to the machine using the power cord.
Connect the air assist to the machine using the air assist tube.
Adjust the air intake by rotating the airflow adjustment knob.
Caution: Do not bend the ventilation tube to avoid airflow blockages.
Warm tips:
Please test the rotation of the rotary roller before engraving. If you encounter problems, please contact the seller of the rotary roller first to troubleshoot.
Different models of rotary rollers and varying item sizes may impact engraving effects. Please refer to the corresponding rotary roller user manual for specific guidance.
For better engraving results, please set the engraving speed below 800mm/min.
Connect the flexible hose to a window or an air purifier.
Turn on the air purifier and use it.
If you want to purchase an air purifier, please contact our customer service to register your purchase intention.
Warm tips:
Regularly clean the lenses of the laser module to maintain the machine in good working condition and reduce wear. Because the dust deposition during engraving can reduce the module's power output, heat up the lens, and, in severe cases, cause lens breakage.
Connect the air assist when using engraver and select an appropriate airflow to reduce dust deposition on the lenses.
For better heat dissipation of the laser module, please follow the time intervals:
Laser Power at 0%~70%: Stop for 10 minutes after 4 hour of use.
Laser Power above 70%: Stop for 10 minutes after 1 hour of use.
Point A
X-axis Belt Tension Adjustment
Use a 2.5mm hex wrench to loosen the screw at position A-1 by turning it counterclockwise.
Insert a 2.0mm hex wrench through the hole at position A-2 and rotate the screw in the arrow direction to achieve the appropriate belt tension (clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen).
Point B
Y-axis Belt Tension Adjustment:
Use a crosshead screwdriver to loosen the screw at position B-1 by turning it counterclockwise.
Insert a 2.0mm hex wrench through the hole at position B-2 and rotate the screw in the arrow direction to achieve the appropriate belt tension (clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen).
Point A (Wheel following the laser module in X-axis movement)
X-axis Movement Wheel Tension Adjustment:
Use a 10mm open-end wrench to hold the X-axis synchronous wheel. Adjust the tension according to the wheel; clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen.
Point B (Wheel fixed in the upper right corner of the machine when it is turned over)
Y-axis Movement Wheel Tension Adjustment:
Use an 8mm open-end wrench to hold the Y-axis synchronous wheel. Adjust the tension according to the wheel; clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen.
